What did you learn about filming and editing?
I learnt how to film the shots by using the storyboard that I had composed beforehand and I already knew how to edit the different shots fairly as I used to make lego stop-motion videos during my free-time as a youngster.
Did you find/use any premiere effects? If so, which ones and what was the effect?
I used the 'posterize' effect to replicate the cartoon effect used in the opening sequence of 'Juno (2007)'.
What went well in the filming and editing? How does it look compared with the original opening sequence?
I believe that the filming and editing went pretty well however I do feel that we could not replicate some of the shots to the best of our ability due to the setting around the school being fairly similar. Compared to the original opening sequence, I think that we did a pretty good job at mimicing the camera angles, shots and frames that were originally used- in particular, the static 8th shot.
What could have gone better with the filming and editing?
The filming and editing could have gone better if my acting skills were sufficient enough and if I had more knowledge in how to use the effects on Adobe Premiere Pro. For example, altering certain effects so that they can look even more similar to the original effects used.
