Genre Pitch Presentation- Original Movie Idea (Personality Swap)

For this assignment, me and Kaitlyn were asked to pitch an idea for a movie of the Comedy genre for the target audience of 'Pre-Teens/Older Children'.

After presenting to the class, we recieved a lot of praise however we did also recieve some constructive criticism regarding the relation to the comedy genre. Some of the class believed that we did not touch upon the comedy genre as much as we should have done. I do agree with this to a certain extent as we did not think ahead about any certain comedic scenes that would be included during the duration of the movie. We now know that next time we will need to think in-depth about how our movie will relate to the specific genre given.

Our movie was originally intended to be a Comedy-Drama movie but due to the serious narrative we were forced to reconsider. Our movie could be therefore defined as a Drama with some lighthearted comedy elements included.
